“ Ordered 2 sausage and 1 bacon breakfast burrito from Uber Eats and they completely went above and beyond! The portions are huge and the containers they came in kept them warm :) These burritos were stuffed and the ratio of egg to rice was perfect! They added two chip bags and salsa with the order which I thought was sweet touch. I'd definitely go back in person to try more of the menu ”
“ Celebrated a birthday today with coworkers! When we got to the venue we were seated right away, the restaurant has yet to get busy, (5 pm on a Sunday) but it was full when we left. We had great service. We ordered a pitcher of Strawberry margaritas to share. Chips were served right away. The order was taken immediately after all party members appeared to be ready to order (closed menus). Dinner was served promptly. We had a variety of dishes including steak fajitas, shrimp cocktail, floutas, enchiladas, queso birra, and a cheeseburger. We had a party of 7 and gratuity was included in the bill. Parking is limited. ”
“ Wide selection on the menu, food was great, restaurant was clean, and there was a lot of space, if you want to go with a small group or a larger party as well. Our server was very nice and she made sure that we had everything we needed the entire time, was very attentive, and helped us understand multiple choices on the menu. The food was authentic and I would go back. The Super Famoso burrito is a MUST, with its huge portion and you can almost any type of meat in it, and of course it being drenched in enchilada sauce is a huge plus. Finally ended with Churros for dessert which with came with ice cream - so good! ”
“ My girlfriends and adult children met for brunch after Christmas. Large crowd. We had people coming in and out at different times. Out of Towners. The waiter was very kind and patient. Attentive all of our order were correct and of corse the food was delicious . Eeeek it was just a shocker to see the change in the prices.. but that's everywhere now. ”
“ Authentic, real food. Margaritas and tequila. Get your groove on. Was introduced to the La Piñata family of restaurants several years ago by a good friend of mine, a bass player in Oakland after a rehearsal. We hit the San Leandro location to fill the tank with late-night tacos and chile relleno, burritos and margaritas. Been hitting the Concord location ever since. It's my go-to when I want to sit down with margaritas and substantial, authentic Mexican food. The joint is friendly, casual, easy going. Food comes quick, drinks are strong. So far, haven't had a "miss" yet when coming for food. Only small niggle is when they wanted to seat us in the bar, and it was too LOUD to hear ourselves think...so nope, sorry we'll take a table in the main area. Other than that...have never left hungry, have never left not satisfied. ”
“ In the mood for soup so we ordered the tortilla soup and the chicken soup. The chicken soup was a large bowl with lots of chicken and vegetables, as well as a side of rice and tortillas. The tortilla soup was a smaller bowl, but very tasty. We will definitely come back as the weather cools. ”
“ My wife and I went to La Pinata after attending the Creative Concord arts festival and the restaurant was pretty empty around 4:00 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon. We both ordered a burrito bowl with steak for takeout and our order was ready in about 10 minutes. We definitely made a mistake getting one bowl per person because the orders here are absolutely massive. Priced at around $20 an entree, the bowls are more than enough for a few meals. If you wrap the fillings inside a burrito sized tortilla, you'll get at least three full meals out of the burrito bowl -- at least I did. The steak is flavorful, tender and you get a ton of it. I love that you get salsa, guac, and pico all on the side, as well as a large bag of chips. You are definitely getting your money's worth at La Pinata. ”
